HD1 Bug reports By Beta Testers

BUG The input impedance of the HD1 device is not adequate. Strong mismatch causes low sensitivity (less than similar radio equipment) when connecting the radio to most antennas, both portable radio antennas and fixed antennas, and increased errors in DMR.
Consequently this impacts both FM and DMR transmissions / receptions.
Measurements carried out with the Vector Network Analyzer were sent to Ailunce and passed to the engineering group.
BM and other networks do not permit this. Also not permitted on most Ham License
BUG „Call log will show any call type, not only Private Call. “
Must have way to turn off pop up window
BUG Analogue Pop up window displays frequency & Code and it needs to show the Channel name as well.
Have to turn OFF to keep it open
Receive could be better as getting drop outs when I should not be with open squelch
BUG Channel Information – RG Group Lists
Address Book Contacts shows as 1
Needs to show the name of that list as in RX Groups lists
Also on Right column the same change
BUG Promiscuous – Main On / Off option from menu Needs to work for Talk Groups and Reflectors
BUG The battery Percentage indicator not very accurate. The level below 40% drops of much quicker. Should be an easy fix in firmware.
Wish List The light green signal strength meter is very hard to see. (BLACK)
Wish List In the pop up window can we remove the top blue line and text. Put the A or B in the bottom right after the frequency number. This will make the window 2 lines bigger and give room for text lines we need.

BUG Address Book Contacts. Read radio first time and showed all. All other times since it reads the radio but no info shows up. Also does not seam to save the contacts you have read on the pc when you save the code plug. Reading radio could be made faster BUG Error Warning. If you get any error warning windows and you click OK to close the windows the CPS closes down. This means you will loose all non saved works.
BUG Channel Information – RX list
Will not remember if you add a single RX number from Priority Contacts.
BUG RX Groups Lists
Address Book Contacts – You have to go look the number up (Contacts – Address Book Contacts) you want and then go back and add it. This is not going to work at all and needs to be changed
Priority Contacts – When you move to right window it does not remember it after you close the window and open it again.
In short the RX Groups List is not working at all, no matter how we use it
This needs to be a search box –
BUG CSV file has to be loaded manually every time you open the code-plug
Can this not be fixed to load by Default.
BUG HD1 driver that is available on the Resources Centre does not seem to be fully compatible with more current versions of Windows than W7. Text information in the driver zip file is in Chinese.

C = UHF digital – Promiscuous – slot 1 and 2 and all CC D = VHF digital – Promiscuous – slot 1 and 2 and all CC

QUICK Save to memory (Channel) if you do find activity from the scan.

In each zone need to be able to move Channels up and down in right column
Ability to Set zones as a default as we do use many zone and this changes depending if you move to a different area for a day or week etc

Wish List A detailed CPS Help file or a hyperlink to a help file location would be “helpful”! The Help tab on the CPS only gives version type. Change the word Bate to Beta!!
Wish List Noticed that during writing / reading to / from the radio (Code-plug or Address Book), the Write or Read operation failed (stopped or corrupted data) if a QSO is received. Is it possible that before starting a read or write operation **Receiving** (from the radio) is switched off (killed) by firmware for the time the process is running?
